Labels butt against each other vertically — there is no gap between rows. Generated at 3:2 and center-cropped to 2:1.
Designing for this label
Artwork is drawn at this shape rather than resized into it. A rectangle is not a square design cropped, and a bag face is not a jar label scaled up: the composition has to be built for the proportion it will be printed at, or the name ends up cut in half at the trim.
4" × 2" rectangle wraps around a tube and shows only the middle third of its width, so these layouts are the ones that hold on it:
